I’ve been fortunate to work as a mental health professional for over 10 years, across private practice and community mental health settings while addressing mental and emotional difficulties with individuals, couples, and groups. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
I specialize in helping men understand themselves more fully from their mental, emotional, and physical experiences. This awareness often results in the decrease of symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, relational conflict, and grief and loss, among others. I also provide couples counseling and have enjoyed helping clients grow in their relationships, fostering improved communication and an understanding of old, unhelpful patterns.
I approach work with clients primarily from a foundation of Multicultural Counseling and Somatic-based theories. I’m curious about the internalized messages and beliefs learned from family, peers, ethnicity, and gender and how these beliefs may be incongruent with clients’ current experiences. I strive to stay attuned to how clients’ nervous systems react during problematic times, and work to give clients a better understanding of these ‘fight, flight, freeze’ patterns in addition to interventions to restore homeostasis in the body. Through work in these areas I may utilize a number of different modalities, including Mindfulness and Somatic Attunement, CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused strategies. I truly want to be an ally in your life's journey and I would be honored to work with you.

I am a Naturopathic Physician who specializes in hormone management. I graduated from Bastyr University with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and completed a two-year residency with a goal of helping individuals achieve optimal health via a mix of herbal and conventional modalities. My ideal patient has a strong desire to take control of their health and is open to addressing their health concerns through diet and lifestyle modifications and appropriate herbal and pharmaceutical treatments that aim to treat the root cause of disease.

My goal as your doctor is to uncover the underlying cause of hormone imbalance and to help support the organ systems that lead to optimal hormone production. Modalities include herbal supplements, dietary counseling, and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. Options for replacement include patches, capsules, creams, injections, and pellets.
